The four accompanying silver spoons are from an earlier date - believed to be London 1804. All four are similarly hallmarked with the duty mark, date letter, assay mark and the maker's initials J. There is no mark of origin.
One has a small bruise to the bottom of the bowl. The elastic support of one spoon is broken.The original velvet lined case is in good condition. The salts have an oval shape measuring 3 1/8" x 2 1/8" (7.9 cm x 5.4 cm) and height of 2 (5.1 cm). The spoons each have a length of 3 7/8 (9.8 cm).
